Awards & Prizes

As part of the EACTS commitment to advancing education and research in cardio-thoracic surgery, the Association offers eight awards each year in recognition of training and research excellence.

Application overview

All awards, except for the The Leonardo Da Vinci Award, are based on self-nomination and application. The Leonardo Da Vinci Award relies on trainees nominating their trainer. Application and/or nomination is via the EACTS User Area, unless otherwise stated on the award pages.

Where a covering letter is requested, this should be submitted to the EACTS Executive Secretariat by mail, fax or email.
