| TALK DELIVERED AT PRESIDENTIAL DINNER | |

I would like to talk about love. I would like to talk about my tender love for my Secretary, Maud Zingmark, whose voice you all hear when contacting the Umeå office. I would also like to talk about my tender and respectful love for Kathy McGree, who has been of constant assistance and who will now create the new office for the EACTS in Windsor, and who you will now be dealing with when contacting that Secretariat. And I would like to talk about my tender, respectful and passionate love for my wife, Gun. But I would also like to talk about my mistress. (Sorry Gun, it had to come out eventually.) When I was 24, I met this wonderful girl. Her name was C-Tease, a nickname of course. Her real name was Cardaio-Thor Surk, an old Viking name. But I called her C-Tease. She was wonderful, exciting, conquerable, but often evasive. I spent many a day together with her and many an exciting and tiring night. All nights were not successful. Our encounters could result in total failure. However, she had an ability to let me sleep for a few hours, only to awake and excite me to give loving and satisfactory performance. Over the years, C-Tease has matured and mellowed. She is no longer as capricious as she was. But, at a wink, she can at any time excite me with new aspects of her wonderful body and personality, and then I will be lost again and again. So, I would like to confess my love for C-Tease and ask you to join me in a toast to my - no, to our mistress C-Tease. Thank you. |
