TRANSPORT INFORMATION

On Arrival
Vienna International Airport is located about 16 km south-east of Vienna. There are frequent bus services from the airport to the Vienna City Air Terminal at 'Am Stadtpark/Landstrasse'. From here you can continue by either taxis or public transportation (underground lines U3, U4) to your destination. Buses depart from the arrivals building every 20 minutes. Journey time to the city is about 20 minutes and the fare is approximately €6. A transfer to your hotel by shuttle can be ordered in the arrivals hall. A taxi from the airport to the city centre costs approximately €30 one-way.

By Car
Travelling time from the airport via the A4/A23/A22 motorway link is approximately 25 minutes.

TRAVELLING TO THE AUSTRIA CENTER

To get to the Austria Center Vienna from the City Centre please take underground U1 (red line); station: Vienna International Centre/Kaisermühlen, exit: Schüttausstrasse.

VIENNA TRAVEL PASS

The Vienna travel pass offers unlimited use of the public transport network including the City's métro, tram and bus services. The EACTS Executive Secretariat will be purchasing a number of 4-day passes, valid from Sunday 12 - Wednesday 15 October, on behalf of Meeting participants at a cost of €14 per pass. If you would like to order passes for the Meeting, please complete the relevant section of the registration form.

OFFICIAL AIRLINE

Austrian Airlines, Tyrolean Airways and Lauda Air have been appointed as the official carriers for our event. They offer the most frequent flights to and from Austria. Please contact your nearest Austrian Airlines, Tyrolean Airways or Lauda Air office or travel agent where you will receive information on flights and fares.

As a participant of the 2nd EACTS/ESTS Joint Meeting, you and one accompanying person will benefit from a favourable congress fare on Austrian Airlines flights (excluding certain reduced and action fares). Please identify yourself as a participant by presenting your registration and referring to: CODE - EACT3. If your ticket is issued at a travel agency, please ask your agent to contact his Austrian Airlines, Tyrolean Airways and Lauda Air Office.
