The Meeting will take place in the Austria Center.
MEETING HOURS
The Cardiac programme will commence at 08:00 and end at 18:00, and the Thoracic Programme will commence at 13:00 and and end at 18:00.
Friday 10 October 15:00 – 17:00 hrs
Saturday 11 October 07:00 – 14:00 hrs
TRADE EXHIBITION
The Exhibition is open to sponsoring companies, and will take place at the Austria Center. The Exhibition will be open during meeting hours.
All enquiries and correspondence regarding the Exhibition and sponsorship should be directed to the EACTS Executive Secretariat.
REFRESHMENTS
Coffee and tea will be available in the exhibition area during the official Meeting breaks and will be included in the registration fee.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the EACTS and ESTS and the Meeting is English.
OFFICIAL LETTERS OF INVITATION
Letters of invitation required to meet the administrative and legal regulations of some countries are available to participants upon written request to the Executive Secretariat. Please write your name and address clearly, in order to ensure an efficient reply. Such letters should not, however, be construed as a financial commitment on the part of the Organisers.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Check passport and visa requirements in due time before you leave. Passport-holder from countries in Western Europe (EU) as well as from North America and Australia do not need a visa to enter Austria. All other nationalities will have to contact the Austrian Embassy in their country for detailed information.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
All participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance. Neither EACTS, ESTS or their agents Austropa Interconvention cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, damage, accident to private property or additional expenses incurred as a result of delays or changes in air, rail, sea, road or other services, strikes, sickness, weather and any other cause.
