2ND EACTS / ESTS Joint Meeting

    4.     SUBMISSION OF PAPERS TO EJCTS
.

The Constitution of EACTS (Article X Section 1) requires that manuscripts of all papers presented during Oral and Forum sessions should be submitted to the European Journal of Cardio-thoracic Surgery (EJCTS) prior to or at the Meeting. Note that failure to submit the appropriate material on time, duplicate/redundant publication and unreasonable withdrawal of the paper will all be brought to the attention of the programme selection committees of the 3 subsequent meetings of EACTS/ESTS for first authors and 1 meeting for all co-authors - non-compliers cannot reasonably expect their future work to be taken into consideration.

EJCTS manuscript submissions for Digital Interactive and Film presenters are welcomed but not mandatory.

Manuscripts should be prepared strictly according to the requirements of the Journal's Instructions to Authors  (http://ejcts.ctsnetjournals.org/misc/ifora.shtml).

a. On-line submission (preferred)

Complete electronic manuscripts can be submitted through the EJCTS website (http://submit-ejcts.ctsnetjournals.org/) - if you are a first time user you must register on the website - 'Create a new account'.

b. On Site submission

Authors not able to submit on-line are requested to deliver copies (1 copy of manuscript on paper / 1 copy of manuscript on disk / 3 copies artwork) of their paper to the EJCTS Publication Office, Room 25, Level -1 (Blue Level) as early as possible during the Meeting.  Please note that, as these papers will require artwork scanning and uploading to the Journal management system, they will be sent out for review after manuscripts submitted on-line.
