International Co-operation Committee of the EACTS

International Cooperation Committee will hold an open meeting during the EACTS/ESTS meeting in Leipzig. All members of both organisations interested in the field of international cooperation are invited to attend. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday September 12^th 2004, at 15.00 in the Hall 3. Following topics will be discussed:

1. Scholarships for International School of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery in Bergamo
2. Future activities of the “East European Committee”
3. Formation of a “Core Group” of interested EACTS members
4. Teaching courses of the EACTS in underdeveloped countries
5. Minimal criteria for creation of a Cardio-Thoracic surgical programme
6. Future funding of the Committee’s activities
