We are happy to invite you to a forum that we have created to discuss difficult cases with experts. We are organizing a session with a concept “S.O.S. – Save Our Surgeon! Critical Situations in CT Surgery”. During this session case reports sent by delegates will be discussed with an expert panel and the audience. The idea is to stimulate discussion on difficult cases and dissect the problems in details with expert panel.

We have designated four subjects and invited panelists for each subject. These case reports should relate to difficult decision-making problems. The subjects of this year “S.O.S. – Save Our Surgeon! Critical Situations in CT Surgery” session are:

  • Mitral valve
  • Aortic valve
  • Congenital
  • Thoracic

We hereby invite members and colleagues around the world to submit case reports according to specific guidelines as shown below.
The deadline for submission of case reports is 31 July 2018.

Instructions for Authors

Please follow the instructions below otherwise your submission cannot be selected for review.

  • Abstract submission – 5 Power Point Slides are required on the template provided
  • Case reports should be submitted in one of the following subjects:
    • Mitral valve
    • Aortic valve
    • Congenital
    • Thoracic
  • The PowerPoint slides language is English
  • The title should NOT be printed in CAPITAL LETTERS. There should be no more than 8 authors
  • Minimal font size is 20
  • The use of tables or graphs is possible and advised
  • The text and the title should be free from abbreviations, except those commonly used (e.g. LVEF, CABG, VSD, ASD et cetera)
  • These case reports presentation should not exceed 5 minutes to expert panel for discussion.
  • The PowerPoint presentation should end with one or few questions for the expert panel and audience.

Meet the Experts Abstract Submission Deadline
