Course Overview
A comprehensive review of various aspects of the endovascular treatment of aortic pathologies specifically designed to help cardiac surgeons get acquainted with this technology. Formal presentations and simulator training will be used to cover major theoretical and practical aspects.

2 day interactive lectures, drylab and simulator training

Course Fee
Members: €450 inclusive of VAT
Non-Members: €550 inclusive of VAT

Course fee includes lunches and refreshments on all days, and dinner on Saturday 21 October.

Target Audience
Cardiac surgeons wanting to embark into the era of endovascular technology for a more complete form of treatment of major aortic pathologies.

Learning Objectives

  • Acquire the basic skills to approach major aortic pathologies by the use of endovascular technology.
  • Plan various types of endovascular treatment for the different sections of the thoracic and abdominal aorta.
  • Define the best therapeutic approach for each given aortic pathology.
