Kadir Caliskan

Kadir Caliskan received his medical degree in 1994 from the University of Amsterdam. In 1999, he began training in cardiology and since 2005 he has worked as a transplant and heart failure cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, where he is Head of Unit Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support. His main research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of chronic heart failure, in particular advanced/end-stage heart failure, and clinical features of heart transplantation, both short- and long-term outcomes, as well as several other topics.
