Join the Adult Cardiac Database
EACTS encourages hospitals across Europe to participate in the Adult Cardiac Database and access surgical data with benchmarking features to compare outputs on an international level.
EACTS accepts data from individual hospitals and national registries.
Participation is easy. If your hospital would like to join the Adult Cardiac Database as an individual centre or via a National Registry, please read the steps below.

JOIN as an individual centre
To sign up please read the EACTS QUIP Charter carefully, and sign the Registration Form and return to [email protected].
The QUIP team at University Hospital Birmingham will contact you or your designated data manager to request your data fields (not the data itself) to map with the QUIP database.
You or your data manager will upload the data via a secure platform. This upload is completed within minutes.
You can upload the data as often as required, the minimum being once a year. The QUIP Team will be available throughout to help and ensure it is a smooth process.
You or your data manager will receive login details to access the Adult Cardiac Database.
You can log in to access the data and benchmark the outcomes of your hospital with all other hospitals in the database, anonymously.
If you are more than 1 user in your centre, please contact [email protected] to create multiple user accounts.
JOIN as or via a National Registry
To sign up via a National Registry please read the EACTS QUIP Charter carefully, and sign the Registration Form stating the 3rd party organisation involved, and return to [email protected].
The QUIP team at University Hospital Birmingham will contact the National Registry’s data manager to request the data fields (not the data itself) to map with the QUIP database.
The data manager at the National Registry will upload the data via a secure platform.
You or your data manager will receive login details to access the QUIP database.
You can log in to access the data and and benchmark the outcomes of your hospital with all other hospitals in the database, anonymously.
