EACTS is delighted to be returning to Barcelona for the fourth time to celebrate it’s 34th Annual Meeting, from Thursday 8 – Saturday 10 October 2020.
The cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region and largest metropolis on the Mediterrean sea, Barcelona is defined by quirky art and architecture, imaginative food and vibrant street life. Its medieval roots are featured in the maze-like Gothic Quarter but it’s modernist personality radiates in architect Antoni Gaudí’s work, seen throughout the city and showcased in his fantastical Sagrada Família church.
The city’s influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world’s major global cities. A transport hub, the Port of Barcelona is one of Europe’s principal sea ports and the Barcelona El Prat Airport handles over 35 million passengers a year. The city also boasts an extensive motorway network and high-speed railway line with links to France and the rest of Europe.
The venue for this year’s Meeting will be the Centre Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB), a modern, innovative, 100,000m2 event space facing the sea and equipped with the latest technology and services.
We look forward to welcoming you to another successful Annual Meeting in October.
