INTRODUCTION

Vienna is a remarkable city with a very rich history, known as the “City of Music” (due to its musical legacy with many famous classical musicians such as Beethoven and Mozart) and the “City of Dreams” (being home to the world’s first psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud).

In EACTS History, this city was host to the inaugural EACTS Annual Meeting, back in 1987. We are delighted to be returning to Vienna for the 6th time,  where we will raise the bar with a world-class educational programme as we discover, educate and innovate the future of cardiothoracic surgery.

Our valued industry partners

The support of our industry partners is important. As we develop more flexible and innovative ways to communicate and share educational content, we are excited to offer new engagement opportunities for our industry partners. The EACTS Annual Meeting is the largest event for the cardiothoracic community, attracting several thousand delegates. It provides the perfect forum to promote your products and services to the world’s leading cardiothoracic surgeons as well as physicians in related specialties, residents and allied health professionals.

We look forward to working with you.

The 37th EACTS Annual Meeting has been registered as COMPLIANT by MedTech.

Industry Meeting

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Industry Meeting at the ACV (Austria Center Vienna) on Wednesday 15th February 2023. The presentations from the meeting have been made available below.
