The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is just 30 miles West of London with Heathrow airport just 15 mins drive away. Luton and Gatwick airports are within an hour’s drive. The whole of the Royal Borough is easily accessible via the major motorway networks M3, M4, M25 & M40. It is also well connected by public transport from all London airports.
London Heathrow Airport
From London Heathrow Airport, Windsor Borough is just 15 mins from Terminal 5 and approx. 20-25 mins from Terminals 2,3 & 4 by taxi.
From T5, take either the bus number 8, 10 or 703 directly into the centre of Windsor (approx. 50 mins). Bus number 703 (York House Stop) brings you closest to the EACTS House. From T4, take bus number 490 towards Heathrow T5. At Heathrow T5, change bus to either number 8,10 or 703 which takes you straight into Windsor. Bus number 703 (York House stop) brings you closest to the EACTS House. Walk to EACTS House.
From T2 & T3, take bus number 4 towards Maidenhead Town Centre and get off at Slough. Change buses to either number 2,8 or 702/703 toward T5 and get off at York House stop. Walk to EACTS House.
London Gatwick Airport
From London Gatwick Airport take the Southern Rail towards London Victoria to Clapham Junction. Change at Clapham Junction to South Western Rail towards Windsor & Eton Riverside. Walk to EACTS House.

From London Luton Airport take bus number A2 to Bishops Bridge Paddington station. Walk to Paddington Rail station and take the First Great Western Rail to Slough. At Slough, Platform 1 take the direct 1 stop service to Windsor & Eton Central. Walk to EACTS House.

London City Airport
From London City Airport take the DLR to Bank underground station and then take the Waterloo & City Line to Waterloo. At Waterloo take the South Western Rail to Windsor & Eton Riverside. Walk to EACTS House.

Windsor is served by two train stations, Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside. First Great Western operates from London Paddington to Windsor & Eton Central station involving a change at Slough (approx. 25 mins).
South Western Railway operates a direct service from London Waterloo to Windsor and Eton Riverside station (approx. 55 mins).
- The most accessible motorway is the M4, with Windsor being just 1 mile from Junction 6.
- On the M4, Windsor is situated 24 miles from London, 26 miles from Reading and 90 miles from Bristol and South Wales.
- As well as the M4, Windsor is only 5 miles from Junction 13 of the M25 London circular motorway making its access to the outskirts of London and other motorway links very easy.
Local ‘A’ roads
- From Staines take the A308 or from Maidenhead via Windsor Road/A308.
- From Ascot take the A332 or from Slough via Bath Road/A4 .
- From Henley take the A4130 , A404(M) and M4 Junction 6.
