COURSE INFORMATION

Date/Duration
8-9 June 2020 (2 day course)

Location
Sheraton Parco de’Medici Rome Hotel
Rome, Italy

Course Director
R de Paulis, Rome

Course Format
Live surgical cases, presentations led by keynote international faculty, scientific debate, dynamic research, and video & abstract presentations

Course Overview
This year the Aortic Valve Repair Summit will focus on a general presentation of the most commonly used techniques of valve sparing and valve repair surgery. One day will be devoted to the tricuspid aortic valve and one day to the bicuspid aortic valve both in the presence or absence of a root aneurysm. Diagnostic assessment, imaging, surgical technique and analysis of the results will be discussed and evaluated with the help of live surgery and live-in-a-box videos. We hope this will serve as a basis for those who want to start a program of aortic valve repair but also for those experienced surgeons who want to confront ideas and share expertise.

Target Audience
Cardiac surgeons, echocardiographers (cardiologists and anaesthesiologists), radiologists and advanced residents interested in the field of valve repair who are encouraged to present their scientific work in abstract presentations.

Learning Objectives
To showcase the latest techniques in bicuspid aortic valve repair, participate in conversation, share experiences and help raise better medical evidence.

Course Fee
Members: €550 inclusive of VAT
Non-Members: €650 inclusive of VAT
Resident: €250 inclusive of VAT

Course fee includes lunch and refreshments on both days.
