The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) are delighted to announce that the third annual Latin America Cardiovascular Surgery Conference, will take place in Cancun, Mexico from 22-24 November 2019.
The programme will concentrate on the multidisciplinary approach to coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, thoracic aortic disease, atrial fibrillation, and the surgical management of heart failure as well as additional tracks covering congenital heart disease, research, database, leadership and fellowships.
Sessions will incorporate invited lectures from a world-class international faculty, including experts from Europe, Latin America, and North America, on traditional and new technology procedures, plus technical videos and original scientific abstracts. New this year, we have introduced a number of wetlab and simulator training sessions on Sunday 24 November, providing participants with an opportunity to hone their skills in small supervised training groups.
Registration and abstract submission for the Conference will open soon. You can express your interest here and we will notify you as soon as it is available online. Bring your whole cardiac surgery team to this important event!
