Katharina Sinn

Katharina Sinn, is a thoracic surgeon specializing in thoracic malignancies. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where she also completed her residency training in thoracic surgery at the Vienna General Hospital/ Medical University of Vienna. She subsequently pursued a one-year fellowship focused on minimally invasive thoracic surgery at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom, before returning to the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. Her research focuses on advanced non–small cell lung cancer and translational oncology with particular interests in squamous cell carcinoma of the lung and pleural mesothelioma.
