Marco di Eusanio
Prof. Marco Di Eusanio is currently serving as the Director of the Cardiac Surgery Department at the Azienda Ospedaliera Univerisitaria di Ancona, Italy.
Prof. Marco Di Eusanio’s clinical practice and research are concentrated on several key areas:
- Valvular Surgery: Expertise in aortic and mitral valve repair, as well as trans-catheter interventions (TAVI, percutaneous edge-to-edge mitral/tricuspid valve repair, and TMVI).
- Minimally Invasive Techniques: Focuses on minimally invasive heart valves and aneurysms surgery and accelerated patient recovery protocols (ERAS).
- Aortic Surgery: Specializes in open, endovascular, and hybrid procedures for the thoracic aorta, including advanced cerebral protection techniques.
- Complex Procedures: Skilled in the surgical treatment of endocarditis and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.
Prof. Marco Di Eusanio has authored or co-authored over 250 publications and is regularly invited to deliver lectures at national and international conferences. Additionally, he actively contributes to surgical education by hosting visiting surgeons at his center to teach advanced minimally invasive valvular techniques.
