Peter Tcherveniakov
Peter Tcherveniakov is a consultant thoracic surgeon in St. James’s University Hospital in Leeds. He graduated medicine from Sofia Medical University in Bulgaria in 2003, has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (En) since 2010 and completed his MD in molecular genomics of lung cancer in 2015 in Leeds University. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Leeds University and regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals.
His thoracic practice includes a wide scope of activities such as lung volume reduction procedures for COPD, mediastinal surgery, advanced endobronchial procedures and lung cancer surgery.
He is one of the recognized Thoracic surgery trainers in the West Yorkshire Deanery and is regularly involved in training/teaching courses and seminars.
His interests lie in minimally invasive surgery, personalized treatment, management of high risk patients and training.
