Simone Frea

Simone Frea graduated in 2001 as a medical doctor at the University of Turin. After finishing his residency in Cardiology at University of Turin he graduated as a cardiologist in 2005. Simone completed his training focused on advanced heart failure in the Cardiothoracic Department of Niguarda Ca’ Granda Hospital in Milan. Currently, he is the Head of the Intensive Cardiological Care Unit at the University Hospital Città della Salute e della Scienza of Turin and his is main areas of interest are cardiogenic shock management, echodynamics and echocardiography in the intensive care setting and short and long term mechanical supports.
