Jeffrey Jacobs

Jeffrey P. Jacobs, MD is a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics in the Congenital Heart Center at University of Florida, and Director of Research and Education for the Congenital Heart Center at University of Florida. Dr. Jacobs has dedicated his career to excellence in patient care, research, and teaching. He performs both pediatric and adult congenital cardiothoracic surgery and has performed over 4600 operations as primary surgeon. Dr. Jacobs has authored 841 peer reviewed manuscripts, 72 book chapters, and 10 books. He is actively involved in the clinical and academic teaching and training of undergraduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows.
