The Quality Improvement Programme operates two international databases, the Adult Cardiac Database (ACD) and the European Registry for Patients with Mechanical Circulatory Support (EUROMACS). These registries transcend national boundaries to unite international individuals and institutions for the sake of advancing clinical research and improving the outcomes and lives of our patients.
With more database initiatives underway in congenital, robotic and aviation medicine & surgery, the EACTS Council has established the QUIP Committee to oversee the operational strategy and development of all EACTS registries and databases.
EACTS is seeking a dedicated member to take the lead as the QUIP Committee Chair, and to play an important strategic role in representing the vision and purpose of the EACTS Quality Improvement Programme. The Chair will ensure the committee is managed efficiently, setting clear long-term objectives in line with EACTS mission and assisting the Committee to fulfil its purpose to the best of their ability.
