This one-day course is designed to inform and educate allied health professionals, including but not limited to nurses, physician assistants, surgical care practitioners, and EP clinic nurses, in all aspects related to the surgical and hybrid treatment of atrial fibrillation. By attending this course, you will gain the knowledge and expertise needed to treat AF patients.

You will be trained by expert physicians and advanced practitioners in the areas of pre-, peri-, and post-hybrid/surgical care, who will present didactic sessions in the morning supported by AtriCure’s Professional Education team.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to practice the techniques learned on AtriCure’s simulation models in the Amsterdam simulation suite. You will perform open bi-atrial Maze concomitant ablation, Hybrid Convergent ablation, and thoracoscopic left atrial appendage exclusion.

At the end of the course, you’ll be able to discuss treatment options for your upcoming clinical cases with a trainer to identify the right strategy for your patients.
