Francesco Calvo

Francesco Calvo graduated with honors in 2014 at the University of Turin, including a training period at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2019, he completed his cardiology residency with highest honors at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan. He currently works as an intensive care cardiologist in the cardiac surgical ICU at San Raffaele University Hospital, where he manages acute cardiac conditions with a focus on advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and both short- and long-term mechanical circulatory support. He is currently attending the Postgraduate Course in Heart Failure at the University of Zurich. Doctor Calvo is a contract professor at Vita- Salute San Raffaele University, teaching in the course of Medical and Surgical Emergencies. He is the author of over 30 scientific publications in the fields of heart failure and cardiac intensive care.
