Geert Willem Schurink

Geert Willem Schurink studied medicine at University Utrecht and was trained in General and Vascular Surgery in HAGA Hospital (the Hague, NL) and LUMC (Leiden, NL). His PhD thesis was on “Endoleakage after endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms.”
Since 1999, he has been senior vascular surgeon at Maastricht University Medical Centre and was appointed professor of Vascular Surgery in 2010. He is specially interested in open and endovascular repair of abdominal, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms.
