James Stirrup

James Stirrup is a consultant cardiologist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. Special interests include cardiovascular computed tomography, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. BSCI/BSCCT and SCCT Level 3 accreditation in Cardiovascular CT. Treasurer, executive committee member and previous Lead for Accreditation of the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging/Cardiovascular CT. He is a fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) and SCCT UK International Regional Committee Member. He is co-author of the Royal College of Radiology Standards for CT Coronary Angiography and contributing author to the ESC Textbook of Cardiovascular Imaging and co-editor of the Oxford Specialist Handbook of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He has served as a Cardiovascular Imaging Expert Panel Member for the 8th edition of the RCR iRefer (Making the Best Use of Clinical Radiology Services) Guidelines.
