Mario Lescan, M.D. obtained his medical degree in 2007 from the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany. After his residency, his training focused on open and endovascular aortic repair including total endovascular repair of the aortic arch and of the thoracoabdominal aorta. His scientific areas of interest include the aortic remodeling after endovascular procedures and the molecular interventions in the pathomechanisms of the aortic wall.
He is the head of the division for vascular and endovascular surgery and the head of the endovascular aortic surgery programme of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the Tübingen University Medical Centre, Germany.
