Nicholas Hughes had a brief dalliance in cardio-thoracic surgery as a junior under the sadly missed Professor Bonser in Birmingham before seeing the light and training in radiology on the St George’s Hospital rotation in South London. He has been a radiology consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey since 2002 with an interest in thoracic imaging. He is also a member of the British Society of Thoracic Imaging and European Society for Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology.
