Rafael Sádaba

Dr Sádaba graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) and completed his training in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery in England and Australia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Science by the University of Leeds, and a PhD degree by the Public University of Navarra. Dr Sádaba leads the Dept of Cardiac Surgery at the “Hospital Universitario de Navarra” in Pamplona (Spain), where he is Director of Cardiovascular Research and Innovation, and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Navarra. He is the current Secretary General of the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS).
