Stefano Marianeschi is Chief of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery at Niguarda Hospital, Milan, Italy. He completed his medical degree in 1985 at “La Sapienza” University, Rome. Stefano was a resident at the Bambino Gesù Hospital Rome until 1990 and then a research fellow from 1990 to 1995, in Rome and at UCSF in San Francisco until 1997.
He is a teacher at the International Heart School, Bicocca University of Milan, as well as a scientific advisor for the Italian NGO Mission Bambini for the Heart of Children humanitarian programme. Stefano is a member of the SICCH and EACTS, and author of more than 120 publications.
