Theodoros Kratimenos

Born in Athens, Greece in 1968, graduated in Medical school of Verona University, Italy in 1995, served as medical doctor in Hellenic military force from 1995-1997 and after completing residency and post graduate studies I have been working in private sector hospitals for 4 years. Since 2006 I practice as Consultant Interventional Radiologist of the Interventional Radiology Unit of “EVAGGELISMOS” General Hospital of Athens, the biggest public hospital in Greece (1100 beds) where more than 1500 patients/year are operated and more than 2000 interventional procedures/year are performed providing 24/7 availability. I have a special interest in endovascular aortic procedures and perform as first operator about 160-170/year aortic endovascular procedures (standard, fenestrated and/or branched). I regularly participate as faculty member or invited speaker in various national and international congresses every year and participate as member in different national and European medical societies. I am also elected member of the Council of Greek Interventional Radiology Society where I serve as Treasurer since 2014, national delegate for IR in UEMS since 2017, elected member of the Council of Evaggelismos hospital as medical’s personnel delegate since 2021.
