I believe that good communication and collaboration throughout Europe is not only important for academic productivity, but also essential for the further education development. It is a privilege to work with motivated and inspired colleagues within the EACTS residents committee to promote and facilitate these goals. I am currently completing my PhD in molecular cell biology with a focus on heart failure therapy in a translational setting. My surgical interests are in the field of heart failure, coronary revascularization and mechanical support systems
