Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Space at EACTS Events

The European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) is
dedicated to advancing the field of cardiac and thoracic surgery through
education, innovation and collaboration. It is crucial that moderators and
speakers taking part in EACTS events understand their roles in fostering an
environment that is inclusive and supportive.

Oral Presentations

Your Presentation
Your allocated presentation time and discussion period will be indicated in your invitation email or abstract acceptance notification email. You can also view this in your speaker space.

Time-keeping: To allow sessions to run smoothly and to ensure that each presenter has their full allotted presentation time, we have implemented a strict time policy. At 10 seconds before the end of the allotted time your slides will AUTOMATICALLY jump to the concluding slide.

Interactive presentations: you have the option to introduce interactive questions / voting as part of your presentation, we will be able to facilitate this for you via the EACTS App.

We need to know in advance if this is something that you would like to incorporate, so please let us know no later than Friday 19 September so that we can advise our technical teams to set this up for you. If you have more than one presentation then please indicate which of these will be interactive.
