Aitor Uribarri

Aitor Uribarri graduated in 2008 as a medical doctor at the Navarra University. In 2014, he completed his training in Cardiology at the “Hospital Universitario Gregorio Marañón” in Madrid. After finishing his residency, Aitor completed his training focused on heart transplantation and mechanical support in “Medizinische Hochschule Hannover” and Royal Brompton & Harefield hospitals.

Currently, he is the director of mechanical support program at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. His areas of interest are cardiogenic shock, ventricular assist devices and ecmo.
