Dragan Subotic graduated in 1982. as a medical doctor at the University of Belgrade School of Medicine. In 1989 he graduated as a general thoracic surgeon. Between 1996 and 2012 he served as a Head of department of thoracic surgery in the Clinic for thoracic surgery in Belgrade, between January 2013 and December 2016 he was the director of the same clinic.
Since 2017 Dr. Subotic moved to Switzerland, first to the University hospital Basel, currently in the Clinic for thoracic surgery, University hospital Zurich. His areas of interest are all aspects of general thoracic surgery except oesophagus, particularly lung cancer and surgery of pleuropulmonary infections.
