Dr. Dörr is a thoracic surgery resident at the University Hospital of Cologne. He completed a fellowship at the ‘Reinhard Lab’ studying new therapeutic options for SCLC and won the 2018 research award of the German Thoracic Society. Currently he investigates new prognostic factors for NSCLC and develops a system to predict pulmonary malignancy. Being a member of the EACTS thoracic domain and the Residents Committee, Dr. Dörr focuses on achieving synergy effects for young thoracic surgeons, especially in educational aspects. His area of interest is minimally invasive thoracic oncologic surgery.
