Filippo Lococo

Filippo Lococo graduated in 2007 as a medical doctor at the at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome in 2007 and later graduated as thoracic surgeon at the same institution, in 2013. In 2019, became Associate Professor of Thoracic Surgery in the same University.
He completed his surgical formation in several international centers such as the Osaka Medical Centre for Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease ” in Osaka (2011), Japan and the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu, Descartes University in Paris (2012).
His main fields of interest in surgery are mini-invasive surgery, laser-assisted lung resection, mediastinal and chest wall tumors, mesothelioma surgery and intrathoracic chemotherapy.
His areas of scientific interest are biomolecular characterization and multiparametric evaluation of thoracic neoplasms, multimodal therapeutic approach in the management of NSCLC, innovative diagnostic and treatment in mediastinal and chest wall tumors.
