Kevin M. Veen graduated in 2021 at Erasmus MC as a medical doctor. He finished his PhD thesis in 2021 focusing on outcomes after tricuspid valve interventions. Currently, Kevin is an Assistant Professor at the department of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery at Erasmus MC. His research focuses on big data in cardiothoracic surgery, epidemiology and advanced statistical analyses of observational data. Furthermore, he is an consultant at the EUROMACS registry, the database coordinator of the HVS aortic valve database and the research fellow of the heart valve disease standard dataset at the international consortium of health outcome measurement .
