Sandeep Singh

Dr. Sandeep K. Singh graduated as a medical doctor and earned his PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in 1988. He completed his training as a cardiac surgeon at the Thorax Centrum of Erasmus University Hospital. After finishing his cardiac training in 1996, he joined the Radboud University Hospital in Nijmegen, NL, as a staff member, focusing on congenital heart surgery. Currently, Dr. Singh is the head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Isala, Zwolle, a position he has held since 2010. His current areas of interest include minimally invasive robotic-assisted cardiac surgery, complex aortic arch and aortic root reconstructive surgery, and the development of percutaneous and hybrid treatment options.
