Dr Olsthoorn is a cardiothoracic surgery resident in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He has a strong interest in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, with a special focus on mitral valve and aortic surgery. He joined the EACTS Residents’ Committee in 2023 to enhance EU-broad training and expanded the possibilities for residents to participate in international fellowships.
